The Turquoise Lagoon
Agathi is often called “The Golden Sand” by locals. It is a soft, sandy bay where the water is a bright, glowing turquoise that looks like it belongs in the Caribbean.
The Experience: Agathi is perfect for a long stay. The water is very shallow and crystal clear, so you can see the sandy bottom even when you are far out. It is very protected from the waves, making it the safest and easiest place to anchor if you are a beginner captain. It’s a great spot to spend an hour or two just floating and enjoying the sun.
